ANDREW B. COCKING
Andrew B. Cocking is Deputy Group President of the Capital & Credit Financial Group, responsible for International business and is one of the Founders of the Capital & Credit Financial Group. He is also a Director of the Group’s subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
As an Investment Banker, Mr. Cocking has held several senior management positions in international and local merchant banks since 1985 after serving in technical positions in private sector firms and government in the United States. Mr. Cocking holds a Master’s Degree in Management and Public Policy from Carnegie-Mellon University and is a Civil Engineer by training with a B.Sc. Degree from Howard University.
Mr. Cocking is a joint recipient of the Caribbean Entrepreneur of the Year 2000 Award in Financial Services and as such became a member of the International Entrepreneur of The Year Institute.
In 1999, Mr. Cocking was included in the International Who's Who - a select group of leaders in the professional arena.
He is the Chairman of the Students' Loan Bureau and sits on the Board of Directors of LIME (formerly Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited). He is also a Past President of the Association of Licensed Financial Institutions.
