- Anyone receiving money from friends or family in North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, the Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, St. Kitts & Nevis, Antigua, Turks & Caicos, Curacao and Aruba;
- Anyone needing fast payment from overseas partners or customers;
- Anyone sending remittances from Jamaica. Outbound remittances can be sent to over 80 countries across the globe with the transfers being paid in the receiving countries by CCRL’s partner RIA Financial Services (and approved agents). Reggae Money Express provides a fast, reliable and efficient money transfer service at the most competitive rates.
Funds are usually available for pick up, at the specified agent locations, within minutes of being received by Reggae Money Express.
Reggae Money Express endeavours to give its customers the most competitive rates. Money transfers are paid based on very competitive exchange rates which are fixed once agreed upon by the sender. There is no change in the amount calculated to be delivered to you regardless of any change in rates during the period.
There are currently no charges to pick up Reggae Money Express remittances in Jamaica.
Visit an agent of your choice and complete a "Receive Money" form. The details required are:
- your full name and complete address,
- your sender's full name and address including the country from which the money transfer was sent,
- the amount expected.
This form is to be presented to the agent representative at the location along with your valid identification card.
The following identification may be used, if valid, to collect your money transfer:
- Passport,
- Driver’s Licence,
- National Identification bearing the doctor bird image,
- If you DO NOT have any of the above forms of identification, your TRN along with your worker’s identification (with a picture) from a known employer is accepted.
- If you are a student and in the case of inbound transactions only.
A Driver’s Licence, National ID or Passport that has not expired.
Yes. Minors who are attending a high/secondary or tertiary institution may collect money transfers.
Yes. The individual collecting the transfer is required to submit his/her valid identification along with a letter prepared and signed by the sender, authorising the agent to pay to the named bearer. A valid ID of the sender must also be submitted with the letter of authorisation.

- All recipients whose senders provided a valid mobile telephone number are notified of the arrival of their money transfer by a SMS message (text). Where the sender provides a valid landline number, the recipient will be contacted by telephone by a CCFG Now Customer Care Agent or by a Capital & Credit Remittance Ltd. Customer Service Representative.
- The person sending you the money may also notify you.

In most cases, money transfers are paid out in cash. However, depending on the amount sent and the location, some money transfers will be paid out by cheque or in a combination of cash and cheque. All transfers to Jamaica are paid out in Jamaican Dollars.
Money transfers are paid in the local currency of the destination country.
Only transfers from Coinstar require this. For those transfers, the Receiver/Beneficiary will need to have a Unique Transaction Number (UTN) and a valid identification. For all other transfers the beneficiary only needs a valid ID.
A sender can remit funds directly to his/her bank account held at a financial institution in Jamaica provided the following information is supplied:
- Name of financial institution,
- Specific address for financial institution or branch name,
- Name on account and account number.
Yes. A sender can remit funds directly to another person’s bank account held at a financial institution in Jamaica provided the following information is supplied:
- Name of financial institution,
- Specific address for financial institution or branch name,
- Name on account and account number,
- A signed Letter of Authorisation by the beneficiary returned to CCRL via email or fax, along with a copy of the beneficiary’s ID. This is a one-off requirement per bank account.
Yes. The requirements to pay a loan, mortgage or bill are as follows:
- Name of financial institution,
- Specific address for financial institution or branch name,
- Name on account and account number,
- Beneficiary signs a Letter of Authorisation and provides a copy of his/her ID. This is a one-off requirement per bank account. The Letter of Authorisation can be e-mailed or faxed to the beneficiary by Reggae Money Express.
Currently, a money transfer can be sent from any Capital & Credit location and other select locations, to over 80 countries across the globe. A "Send Money" form must be completed with the following information, before the transaction can be processed:
- Sender’s full name and address,
- Sender’s source of funds,
- Receiver's full name and address,
- The country the funds are being remitted to,
- Submission of a valid ID.
