Can I deposit funds to another person’s bank account?

Yes. A sender can remit funds directly to another person’s bank account held at a financial institution in Jamaica provided the following information is supplied:

Name of financial institution,
Specific address for financial institution or branch name,
Name on account and account number,
A signed Letter of Authorisation by the beneficiary returned to CCRL via email or fax, along with a copy of the beneficiary’s ID. This is a one-off requirement per bank account.
